The question every replica listing dodges. Pick a size — everything below is drawn to true scale, in real inches, against things you already own. Every skull in the standard range uses the same five-size ladder; the last pill, the Big 1:3 T-Rex, is a single 19-inch print.
Why they look real
Several start from scans of real, catalogued fossils
Several of these — Stan, Trix, AMNH 5027 — begin as scans of individually catalogued fossils that sit in museums today, rather than as a generic dinosaur model.
That is why the buyers who know palaeontology keep telling us the same thing: the bone walls are paper-thin where the real skull is paper-thin, and you can see straight through the nasal opening into the eye sockets. Printed in PLA on our own machines, cleaned up by hand, and checked against the model before it is packed.

Look closer
Every opening in the original is an opening in the print. Nothing is filled in, thickened or smoothed over to save print time — which is why the thin parts are thin, and why you can see straight through.

How long until my order ships?
Everything is made to order, so nothing ships instantly. Most pieces are printed and on their way within 3–5 business days. Larger sizes (11" and 13") and multi-item orders can take a little longer — you will get tracking the moment it leaves.
What does shipping cost?
US standard shipping is $8, and it is free on orders of $70 or more. Express is $15. International orders are quoted live at checkout through USPS, DHL Express or FedEx.
What are the skulls printed in?
PLA — rigid, matte, and the best material for holding fine detail. For custom work we print sixteen more — PETG, ASA, ABS, TPU, nylon, PC, PP, the carbon-fibre grades and the decorative filaments. Fifteen are priced instantly on Print My STL — all but Wood-Fill and Glow in the Dark PLA, which are quoted by hand.
We run resin in-house too, for parts that need finer detail than filament can hold.
What sizes and colours can I get?
The standard range comes in 5", 7", 9", 11" and 13" — the Big 1:3 T-Rex is the exception, a single 19-inch print. Skulls come in Bone, Gray, Black, Blue, Brown, White, Gold and Silver — plus Tan on the Teratophoneus and Inostrancevia. Bone is by far the most popular — it is the one that reads as a real fossil.
Can you print a file I already have?
Yes. Upload an STL and we will print it — priced up front, from $1, on the Print My STL page. If it needs designing, scanning or reverse-engineering first, start on the Custom 3D Print & Design page instead.
Do you ship outside the United States?
Yes — worldwide. Rates are calculated at checkout based on where you are and what you have ordered.
